Context
Reshaping the digital experience of a major employment network.
The digital transformation programme covered web and mobile services and user journeys, calling for information architecture, experience design and coordinated delivery.
01A digital transformation that went beyond design
Adecco's programme involved more than redesigning a website. Several workstreams progressed in parallel: the mobile experience, the redesign of the Swiss homepage and the planning of digital services. For jobseekers, searching for vacancies, finding a branch and applying across different devices are stages of the same journey. The challenge was to connect those needs and harmonise experiences without overlooking the specific characteristics of each market and channel. Governance documentation brought together information architecture, wireframes, design, HTML integration, usage analysis and consideration of how digital services could evolve.
02Starting with users and existing processes
At Publicis Groupe, Ludovic de La Bédoyère led workshops to identify requirements, map the existing environment and propose a new information architecture and user journeys. Strategic planning documented interviews with teams and decision-makers from different countries, research into the candidate journey, benchmarking of digital experiences and the definition of six personas. This phase connected candidates' needs with business constraints and existing platforms. The findings guided priorities for content, navigation and functionality before work moved into interface design.
03Integrating UX/UI, creative work and development
The work included content organisation, navigation flows, wireframes for web and mobile templates, graphic layouts and HTML integration. Topics addressed included vacancy search and categories, suggestions for related opportunities and simplified mobile applications. Ludovic supervised UX/UI, creative work and development, coordinating alignment and validation with the teams involved. Project direction sought to ensure a coherent experience at every stage, rather than producing isolated pages disconnected from one another.
04Governance, testing and planning for future development
Oversight covered workstream owners, deliverables, approvals, validation and testing. Documentation also included a proposed 24-month digital transformation roadmap — strategic guidance that should not be confused with the full implementation of that period. Ludovic's role was to connect diagnosis, experience design, creative direction, technical production and quality control. The assignment took place within Publicis Groupe's digital projects; authorship of the later institutional advertising campaign 'La Chaîne du OUI' is not claimed here.
